National Identity Management System  (Team Member) – Oct 2010 – Oct 2013: A national project designed to register and manage the information of Nigerian citizens and issue a unique identifying number to be used to identify Nigerians. Actively involved in stakeholder meetings and involved with a number of supporting projects consistently providing high quality value and support to ensure successful project delivery.

Sub-projects involved in include:

  1. Wide Area Network (Managed) – Feb 2011 – Jun 2012
    Project spanning all 36 states of the federation and the Federal Capital Territory. Successfully completed the project ensuring all states could connect to the HQ in preparation for the next stage of the project which would involve registration of citizens
  2. Metropolitan Area Network (Managed) – Feb 2011 – Jun 2012
    A project to link key government organizations within the city of Abuja using a combination of fibre cables, radio links and VSAT’s to enable communication between key government parastatals.
  3. Disaster Recovery Site & Data Centre (Managed) – Feb 2011 – Jan 2013
    Project for the Commission’s backup Data Centre which also served as the Disaster Recovery Site. Project involved; building a date center, providing primary and secondary power and the provision of fibre optics connectivity.
  4. IP-CCTV and Access Control System (Managed) – Oct 2012 – Jun 2013
    Project for the Disaster Recovery Site, national data centre, and various citizen registration centres
  5. PKI, PCI-DSS & ISO27001 Framework Implementation (Team Member) – Dec 2012 – Oct 2013
    Part of team involved in the implementation road map for the frameworks. Handled physical security compliance for the IS)27001 and PCI-DSS implementation framework.

IT Transformation Project – Delivery Lead
A project designed to transform IT operations for a multinational oil and gas giant in Nigeria. Transformation from an adhoc delivery system to a centralized service desk system making changes to processes, infrastructure and procedures according to identified requirements.

Sub-projects involved in include:

  1. Enterprise wide upgrade of operating systems for desktops, laptops and servers: Apr – June (2014)
    Upgrade of about 1,500 systems from Windows XP to Windows 7 and the upgrade of servers from Windows Server 2003 to Windows Server 2008 and above.
  2. Data Storage Migration
    Migration of data from SAN storage to 3PAR
  3. Active Directory and Domain Controller Upgrade
    Enterprise upgrade of all domain controllers and active directory from 2003 to 2008.
